Pride!

After struggling to force the stripes of the Vesper sock yarn to match Pam's Marigold pattern, I gave up. But I got back in the saddle again, this time using Regia's sock yarn in Fun Nation. I met Pam in real life (love it when that happens!) and she dubbed them "Pride Marigolds". Word. And then we went out to dinner with Minty and had my favorite, Nutella. Mmmmmm...
I finished one sock pretty quickly:
Pride Marigold
And started the second one right away. In fact, I turned the heel at a taping of the Martha Stewart show. It's an episode about knitting, and it will air today, Monday, February 25th. I hope there's an audience shot where you can see me, Wanett (who invited me and got me a ticket!) and Tammi.
Pride Marigold
(I modified the Lush and Lacy pattern so much that the fronts don't match the back... The knitting is fast, but the calculating, not so much! Socks are so much easier).
